Joint Marketing Effort

Monitors, LLC and Joe Kennedy of TSBOM Associates announced
today that the two organizations will collaborate in marketing
a range of new CoolTouch products.
“Designed by engineers for engineers” CoolTouch
Monitors designs and manufactures LCD in-rack confidence monitors
for commercial use. Bucking recent trends, the firm manufactures
all of its products in the U.S.
Mr. Jose Guillen, General Manager of CoolTouch recently introduced
the RX-Series of products at the April NAB (National Association
of Broadcasters) conference in Las Vegas. The RX series is
described as “the first true multimedia in-rack monitor
with a special, patent-pending design” according to
Mr. Guillen. The RM-Series also introduces TouchScreen capability
to the in-rack experience. This allows the user to interface
and control any software-based routing/switching, audio level
monitoring or other programs directly from an in-rack Confidence
Monitor.
TSBOM will also assist in marketing the newly released RX-Series
of LCD monitors. The RX Series includes a further CoolTouch
innovation: integrated discreet audio for each screen. No
other in-rack LCD monitor currently offers this feature. The
integrated audio can be used for confidence-monitoring purposes
or to monitor an external audible alarm indicating signal
loss. Sizes currently include a Triple 5.6", a Dual Digital
7" Mega Pixel and a Dual 8" 1.44 Mega Pixel Digital MultiMedia
Monitor. Inputs include Composite Video, S-Video, VGA with
built-in scaler and Audio with integrated speaker.
Finally, TSBOM and CoolTouch will collaborate in marketing
the new Weather Series product line. These monitors are built
into weather-proof enclosures with automatic purge valves
and allow unrestricted use and viewing in harsh weather conditions.
Sizes from this series currently include 4" and 7" stand-alone
models.

CoolTouch Monitors LLC, headed by Jose Guillen, is based in
Venice, California. Mr. Guillen is an award winning product
designer who has provided commercial-grade LCD engineering
and design services for 8 years, for firms such as Marshall
Electronics and Wohler. Mr. Guillen has a BA in Communications
from Loyola Marymount University and has worked extensively
in the Recording Industry as well as Film and Television industries
in both the US and Europe for over 20 years. Mr. Guillen’s
